FINAL: MUSIC VIDEO

Here is the link to my final music video which i have uploaded onto Vimeo.

I am very pleased with how it has turned out, i have challenged the typical codes and conventions of my genre (indie) by centring my video around family relationships rather than romantic ones.

The representations of each character are also unique in that the artist is portrayed with a vulnerable side as well as a stereotypical tough or protective side, and visa-versa with the sister, who is more individual and tough as well as vulnerable.

FINAL: DIGIPAK LAYOUT

AUDIENCE FEEDBACK: FACEBOOK

I used Facebook to promote my advert and some images from my digipak. It has proved useful in seeing whether the advert would actually be successful in promoting my artist. The positive aspects of using social networking sites for audience feedback are that you receive comments from everyone and anyone. I plan to do this with my music video as well by putting it on Facebook, Vimeo and possibly YouTube.

AUDIENCE FEEBACK: INSTAGRAM

I used a very simple way of collecting audience feedback, through social networking sites.
I used Instagram for some drafts of my digipak to see which styles and images gained the most likes:

Once my digipak was completed i also uploaded a make-shift print out of it to see if my audience liked it as well...

FINAL DIGIPAK - INSIDE PANELS

I thought it would be useful to include an image where the artist is not in the same clothes; to give a more versatile view of him. The artist does appear in this outfit in the video for 'To Be Alone' which makes it recognisable and not just a random image of the artist in a new outfit.

FINAL DIGIPAK - CD PANEL

Here is the middle panel of the digipak which holds the CD, i have chosen to use an image where the artist does not feature because this particular photo adds to the mood of the forrest in my digipak, creating and overall theme throughout the panels.

FINAL DIGIPAK - INSIDE PANELS

This panel will be on the inside of the front cover when the digipak opens up. It is a photo from the 'To Be Alone' video shoot which features on my digipak, so it will be recognisable to anyone who has seen the video.

FINAL DIGIPAK - MESSAGE TO THE FANS

Here is a panel of my digipak which is more personal, as the artist looks out to the viewer with the 'Note to the fans' the mood becomes more intimate because it feels as if he is looking and writing to you.

FINAL DIGIPAK - TRACKLIST

This is the back cover of my digipak, i have included extra songs as the actual record i have taken 'To Be Alone' from is only an EP. I originally gained inspiration from P!NK's album tracklist which has many different fonts but i have made this my own and it fits with the style of my other products.

FINAL DIGIPAK - COVER

Here is my final digipak front cover! I have used my audience feedback through social networking sites such as Facebook and Instagram to help me select the cover which suits my artists style and the tone of my music video.
